Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 29 August 2008 - Aker Solutions has been awarded a drilling equipment contract by Daewoo Shipbuilding and Marine Engineering (DSME) in Korea for a new semi submersible drilling rig. The total contract value for Aker Solutions is approximately USD 105 million.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 27 August 2008 - Aker Solutions' environmental-friendly offloading system has been used for the first offloading of crude oil, from terminal to shuttle tanker, in the Barents Sea.
