Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 22 August 2008 - Aker Solutions ASA has acquired an additional 30% share in Aker Marine Contractors from Taubåtkompaniet AS. Taubåtkompaniet AS' remaining 10% share in Aker Marine Contractors has been acquired by Aker Capital AS. After these transactions Aker Solutions ASA holds 90% of the shares in Aker Marine Contractors, while Aker Capital AS holds 10% of the shares. Aker Solutions ASA expects to acquire the remaining 10% shares held by Aker Capital AS when formalities related to waivers from the participants in Aker Solutions' bank syndicate are in place.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 8 August 2008 - Aker Solutions has been awarded two contracts, one with Bluewater Industries Inc. and one with Daewoo Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering (DSME) for the design and supply of on-vessel mooring systems. The total contract value for Aker Solutions is approximately NOK 150 million.

Aker Solutions ASA 30 July 2008 - Aker Solutions has been awarded a frame contract by BP for the delivery of subsea umbilicals to the oil company's PSVM ultra-deepwater field development offshore Angola. Intial contract value is approximately NOK 360 million.

Aker Solutions ASA 29 July 2008 - Aker Solutions will publish its 2nd quarter results 2008 at the Oslo Stock Exchange on Thursday 31 July at 8.30 a.m. Central European Time. The results presentation will be held at Aker Solutions' headquarters, Fornebu at 9.30 a.m. the same morning.

Aker Solutions ASA MIDLAND, Mich. and OSLO, Norway, 29 July 2008 - PetroChina Sichuan Petrochemical Co., Ltd. (PetroChina Sichuan) has selected UNIPOL(TM) Polypropylene Process Technology from Dow Technology Licensing for its new 450 KTA polypropylene facility in Chengdu, Sichuan Province, and Aker Solutions will provide the process design and technical advisory services. The Petrochina Sichuan facility will be one of the largest single-train polypropylene facilities in the People's Republic of China. The plant will be part of PetroChina Sichuan's 800 KTA ethylene complex in Chengdu, and is due on-stream in 2010.

Aker Solutions ASA StatoilHydro releases options for maintenance, modifications, service and support work on their Norwegian offshore installations in the Tampen area and on the Troll B, Troll C and Brage platforms to Aker Solutions ASA, and on the Halten/Nordland area to Aker Reinertsen AS. The contract values are estimated to NOK 2500 million (2011), NOK 250 million (2010) and NOK 900 million respectively (2011). (Option validity in bracets).
