Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's-Hertogenbosch - After close consultations with the Central Works Council, Heijmans has reached agreement in principle with the trade unions concerning a social plan for employees who are being considered for transfer or who are subject to forced layoff. The social plan provides Heijmans with a set of regulations governing personnel that is eligible for transfer or declared redundant. The key focus of the plan is to support employees in making a transition 'from work to work'.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's-Hertogenbosch - Further to an earlier announcement concerning the elimination of 200 jobs in Heijmans' support (staff) departments, an additional 450 jobs will be eliminated in the more operational areas. The reductions affect both direct and indirect personnel in the Netherlands. Jobs will be eliminated in Property Development, Residential Building, Non-residential Building and Road Building (Infrastructure). The intervention is designed to allow the organization to operate more cost effectively.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) 's-Hertogenbosch - Heijmans and the City of Utrecht will partner as members of a building team to further detail the development of the new Muziekpaleis (Music Palace) and the construction of the Vredenburg intersection in Utrecht's city centre. The objective is to arrive at a building agreement. Aside from the development of the Muziekpaleis, the project involves the redevelopment of the Vredenburg intersection into a so-called multi-modal viaduct and pushing back the Catharijnesingel, including its water flow. Heijmans will use a combination of building, technical services, road construction, and concrete and hydraulic engineering disciplines for the overall project.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) Amersfoort - Meander Medisch Centrum and Heijmans have entered into an agreement to jointly prepare the construction of a new hospital on the Maatweg in Amersfoort, the Netherlands. It is a step towards final contract award. Together with the architect, Atelier Pro, Heijmans and Meander will start work on optimizing the currently available design. During the coming months the parties will investigate how the building can be constructed and at what cost.

Heijmans NV (AMS:HEIJM) Sustainable energy system for Buurtstede residential district ''s-Hertogenbosch - Heijmans Infrastructure was selected by Duurzame Energie Veenendaal-Oost (DEVO) to design and build a sustainable energy facility for the new Buurtstede residential district in Veenendaal Oost. The award also includes a thirty-year maintenance contract. Residents are expected to save at least 15 percent on their energy bills as a result of the energy system. The contract is valued at over € 21 million, including a thirty-year maintenance contract valued at over €10 million.
