The Board of Directors of Swiss Exhibition has appointed Jean-Marc Devaud as a member of the Swiss Exhibition Group management as of 1 January 2009. Jean Marc Devaud has been on the management of subsidiary Expomobilia AG since spring 2008 and is the designated successor to Hanno Taverna, the founder and current CEO of the internationally renowned stand construction company, who will be retiring from his post at the end of 2009. Up until then, Hanno Taverna and Jean-Marc Devaud will be running Expomobilia AG on a joint basis, thus ensuring a smooth management changeover. As a member of the Swiss Exhibition Group management, Jean-Marc Devaud will additionally hold responsibility for the continued strategic development of the global stand construction business.

Jean-Marc Devaud, born in 1964, grew up in Basel and currently lives in Binningen (BL). The graduate head of marketing, who has gained an Executive MBA, held managerial posts in sales and marketing in a number of internationally operating companies before joining Expomobilia AG.
