Nordea (Finland) Last spring Nordea started to upgrade its services to foreign customers residing in Finland. This concerns services via branches, the phone service number and Netbank services. Nordea now has over 100,000 foreign customers residing in Finland and the provision of banking services in English is of increasing importance.
- Some six months ago we opened a new service number for our English-speaking customers, the Nordea Customer Service, tel 0200 70 000. This is where customers can get personal service in English in all banking matters. The customers have started to use the service and have been satisfied with it, says Harri Mattinen from Nordea's Segment Household.
The content of the online services in English is under continuous expansion. Besides Netbank, Nordea provides ever-increasing services in English on the nordea.fi website. The website gives customers information on everyday finances, savings and loan-related matters.
Nordea now publishes more brochures, terms and forms in English needed in customer service. The new Services for Foreign Customers brochure contains information about opening an account, card payments and banking via Netbank. The brochure also serves as a general guide to banking in Finland.
