Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 23 January 2009 - BP has declared it's option to extend the duration of the existing framework agreement with Aker Solutions for Modifications and Maintenance Support with two years, up to 31 March 2011. The value of the contract extension is expected to represent approximately NOK 1 000 to 1 500 million.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) Aker Solutions has entered into an agreement with Total for the additional work on the Frigg decommissioning project. The agreement removes uncertainties regarding Aker Solutions' future results. The agreement will have a positive cash effect of approximately NOK 1 billion, but will result in an accounting loss for the fourth quarter 2008. For the same quarter, Aker Solutions also recognises losses on the H-6e drilling rig project. Consequently, Aker Solutions estimates the EBITDA result for 2008 to be approximately NOK 3.1 billion. The results for 2009 will not be affected by the agreement.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 15 January 2009 - Aker Solutions announced today that, in a joint venture with CB&I and WorleyParsons, it has received a front-end engineering and design (FEED) services contract for Phase II of the full-field development of the Kashagan oil field in Kazakhstan. The contract value is GB£90M (USD 135 million).

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 14 January 2009 - Aker Solutions has signed a contract renewal with BP for the provision of life-of-field subsea engineering services for its West of Shetland assets. The contract is for a three-year period with options for two one-year extensions (3+1+1). Total contract value could reach GBP 25 million over the five-year period and provides access to work on other BP UKCS assets.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 30 December 2008 - Aker Solutions has signed a frame agreement with Shell Norway and Shell U.K. Limited for the supply of subsea umbilicals. The contract is awarded for one year with an option to extend it an additional 12 months.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 23 December 2008 - StatoilHydro has exercised the Phase 3 option for modification of the Statfjord B&C topsides with Aker Solutions. The option represents a continuation of the Statfjord Latelife project executed by Aker Solutions at present. Contract value is NOK 1 100 million.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 22 December 2008 - Martinus Brandal, Chairman of the board of Aker Solutions ASA, has on 22 December 2008 transferred 7 500 shares in Aker Solutions ASA to his wholly owned company Polarsel AS. The transfer has been done at a share price of NOK 39.25. Polarsel AS' new shareholding is 7 500 shares, equal to the total number of shares controlled by Martinus Brandal in Aker Solutions ASA.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 18 December 2008 - Aker Solutions has been awarded a contract with Petrobras to supply the first set of subsea trees, including control systems and related equipment for the Tupi field development in the Brazilian pre-salt layer. The agreement is worth approximately EUR 45 million.

Aker Solutions ASA (OSL:AKVER) 18 December 2008 - Aker Solutions has been awarded several contracts for the supply of offshore loading systems and deck machinery. The total contract value for Aker Solutions is approximately NOK 70 million.
