Ms Paterson graduated from the WA School of Mines in 1997 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Mining) and later completed a Master of Business Administration in 2006 at Deakin University, specialising in economics. She holds a WA First Class Mine Manager’s Certificate of Competency and was awarded the Telstra WA Young Business Woman of the Year in 2005.
Ms Paterson is experienced in business development, private equity investment and mine management in both underground and open pit mines. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, the Australian Institute of Management and the Australian Institute of Mining and Metallurgy.
