Pluton Resources Limited (ASX:PLV) Irvine Island Drilling Received High Grade Ore With Direct Shipping Potential

Melbourne, Sep 6, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - Pluton Resources Limited ("Pluton") (ASX:PLV) is pleased to announce that core retrieved from diamond hole drilling at the Isthmus region on Irvine Island contains what visually appears to be high grade ore that may be suitable for direct shipping.

Hole ID10DDH26 is angled at 60 degrees and was collared directly into iron mineralisation. The hole is currently at a depth of 120 metres and will continue drilling to approximately 200 metres.

Iron mineralisation appears within the first 85 metres of core, followed by sequences of waste and iron mineralisation. Approximately 60 metres of the first 85 metres visually appears suitable for direct shipping.

Also within the first 85 metres (from 29 metres depth) is a zone of 19 metres of conglomerate containing quartz pebbles. The iron within the matrix of the conglomerate appears to be of very good quality and would make excellent feed for processing.
