WestSide Corporation Limited (ASX:WCL) Bowen Basin Coal Seam Gas Weekly Drilling Update
Brisbane, May 28, 2010 AEST (ABN Newswire) - WestSide Corporation Limited (
ASX:WCL) is currently drilling the final well of a seven well campaign in its northern Bowen Basin coal seam gas (CSG) exploration tenements.
The Mount Leslie #8 core well spud on 21 May and is drilling ahead at 430m.
ATP 688P coal seam gas drilling program (Mount Saint Martin and Mount Leslie)
The program to date has been focussed on WestSide's Mount Saint Martin prospect in ATP 688P. Six wells have been drilled this year to test the extent of the resource previously identified in the Moranbah Coal Measures at Mount Saint Martin and a full review of the results is currently being undertaken.
The final well of the program, the Mount Leslie #8 core well is targeting the gas potential of a new precinct to the south of Mount Saint Martin in ATP 688P. The Mount Leslie #8 well spud on 21 May 2010 and is currently drilling ahead at 430m.

Forthcoming program
On completion of work at the Mount Leslie #8 site in ATP 688P, the drilling rig will be released.
WestSide's Wood Group Wagner-operated Schramm TXD rig is currently mobilising to the Paranui CSG pilot near Moura in the southern Bowen Basin. The rig will commence a program of three appraisal wells to test water and gas flows from the Baralaba coal measures.
