Three Executive Board Members At GFKL Financial Services AG (FRA:GFS1) In Future

GFKL Financial Services AG (FRA:GFS1) - Chief Financial Officer Dr. Till Ergenzinger taking up new challenge - Voluntary resignation - Supervisory Board concurs with his wishes

Essen, 15 December 2008: Dr. Till Ergenzinger, Chief Financial Officer of GFKL Financial Services AG, has decided to resign his position and will be leaving the GFKL Group on 31 December 2008 on the most amicable terms in order to take up a new challenge outside the company. The Supervisory Board of GFKL Financial Services AG thanks Dr. Ergenzinger for all of his work and his personal commitment.

From the same date, in addition to his existing duties as Chairman of the Executive Board, Dr. Peter Jänsch will take responsibility for the areas of Finance/Treasury, Accounting/Tax, Controlling/Risk Management, Corporate Governance/Compliance and Organisation.

The Executive Board of GFKL recently decided that in future the Group will focus on the core business areas of Receivable Management (Collection/Factoring) and Software which have been enjoying healthy growth and high profit margins. More than 1,300 of GFKL's personnel are already employed in these two areas. Servicing receivables worth over 20 billion euro, GFKL is one of Germany's leading collection service providers.
