Metsäliitto-konserni (HEL:MEL1V) Metsäliitto Group Stock Exchange Release 25 November 2008

The Supervisory Board of Metsäliitto Cooperative has elected two new members to the Board of Directors. Mr Juha Parpala (41), farmer and agrologist from Simo, Finland, and Mr Antti Tukeva (55), CEO of Osuuskunta Maitosuomi and Osuuskunta Normilk, and academic agronomist from Jalasjärvi, Finland, will start their three-year terms as Board Members at the beginning of 2009. In addition, Mr Eino Halonen, who was in turn to resign, was re-elected as Board Member.

Under the rules of Metsäliitto Cooperative, Mr Heikki Asunmaa and Mr Unto Kotipalo will both leave the Board as they have reached the stipulated age of 65 years for Board members.
