Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA (OSL:WWI) Wilh. Wilhelmsen ASA ("WW") has 23 October 2008 purchased 1 593 376 shares in class A and 623 700 shares in class B in WW from Wilhelmsen Lines Shipowning AS ("WLS").

WW owns through Wilhelmsen Lines AS all the shares in WLS. The transaction thus implies acquisition of own shares from a wholly owned subsidiary.

The purchase price is NOK 100 per share in class A and NOK 101 per share in class B. The consideration is settled partly by transfer of bonds and issue of a short term receivable.

WW's ownership of own shares after the transaction is 2 219 376 shares in class A and 914 300 shares in class B, corresponding to 6,02 % of the total shares in class A and 7,15 % of the total shares in class B. After the transaction, WW owns 6,31 % of the total issued shares in WW.

WW does not have voting rights for its own shares.

WW does not have any subscription rights, options or other derivative rights to own shares.
