Elisa Oyj (HEL:ELI1V) KATIYE VUORELA APPOINTED ELISA'S EXECUTIVE VICE PRESIDENT, CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS

Elisa Oyj (HEL:ELI1V) Ms Katiye Vuorela has been appointed Elisa's Executive Vice President, Corporate Communications, and member of the Elisa Executive Board as of 13 October 2008. Her responsibilities will be Elisa's external and internal communications, as well as marketing communications. Prior to joining Elisa, she has been responsible for Paroc Group Holjding Oy's corporate communications and working in different duties in international marketing communications of Nokia Telecommunications and IBM's subsidiary Lotus Development Finland Oy. Ms Katiye Vuorela will report to CEO Veli-Matti Mattila.
