Noreco - Share Capital Increase

NORECO Stavanger, 9 July 2008: Norwegian Energy Company ASA (OSE:NOR), The share capital increase in Noreco (Norwegian Energy Compnay ASA) announced on 3. juli 2008 has today been registered with the Norwegian Registry of Business Enterprises. Following the registration, Noreco`s share capital is NOK 442,969,710.50, divided on 142,893,455 shares, each with a nominal value of NOK 3.10. The Articles of Association of Noreco have been revised accordingly.
