Handelsbanken Sells Its Shares In NCSD

Handelsbanken Handelsbanken, together with other major owners, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding to sell its shares (24.82%) in NCSD to Euroclear. The transaction is expected to be completed in Q3 2008.

The transaction is estimated to result in a capital gain of about SEK 700m for Handelsbanken.
