Karl-Heinz Birkner appointed new CFO of STILL GmbH Wiesbaden / Hamburg, January 19, 2009 - Karl-Heinz Birkner (52) has been appointed to the Management Board of STILL GmbH, where he will be responsible for the commercial functions, with effect from February 1, 2009. Karl-Heinz Birkner takes over from Harald Pinger, who was in charge of STILL GmbH's finances on a temporary basis in addition to his responsibilities as CFO of KION Group.

Wiesbaden, 3 December 2008. The KION Group GmbH has countered media speculation that the company might need to raise additional capital. Harald Pinger, the KION Group's CFO, said on Wednesday in Wiesbaden: "We are not even considering it. Our Group is well prepared for the current macroeconomic situation." He went on to say that KION has sound and long-term funding in place. KION's operational performance enables it to fulfill all its financial obligations, even in a more difficult economic environment.

KION CFO Harald Pinger to join STILL's Management Board Wiesbaden / Hamburg, September 11, 2008: Harald Pinger (48) has been appointed to the Management Board of STILL GmbH with effect from September 15, 2008. He will perform this function in addition to his responsibilities as CFO of KION Group GmbH and on STILL's Management Board will be in charge of finance and human resources. He replaces Dr. Lorenz Zwingmann who, after a highly successful five years at STILL, will be leaving at his own request on October 15 in order to pursue new career challenges outside the company.
