Ericsson Racing Team (STO:ERIC) SINGAPORE (Jan. 14, 2009) - Leg 4 of the 2008-'09 Volvo Ocean Race is a 2,500-nautical-mile passage from Singapore to China, one that is expected to last about two weeks. But it could be a leg that breaks both boat and man.

Ericsson (STO:ERIC) Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) has been selected by the leading operator in Luxembourg, P&TLuxembourg (P&T), to replace its existing nationwide WCDMA/HSPA access network. This will enable P&T's mobile LUXGSM subscribers to profit from the latest high-speed mobile broadband services. This is the first contract Ericsson has been awarded by the incumbent operator, P&TLuxembourg.

Ericsson (STO:ERIC) The BBC World Service Trust has selected Ericsson (NASDAQ:ERIC) as its strategic mobile partner to help develop its mobile learning strategy in Bangladesh. The BBC World Service Trust, the BBC's international development organization, uses the creative power of media to reduce poverty and promote human rights. Ericsson will work on a project to develop English-language learning tools for mobile phones in Bangladesh. It is now filling a consultative role, creating the business plan, strategy and service specifications for mobile learning services in Bangladesh. Ericsson will also create the technical specifications and the RFP required for local suppliers to work in the project.
